as if my height could somehow compensate
for all the things you think about
like how i'm not who you thought i was,
i'm too possessed by pain,
i'm anxious and uncertain,
while you're mystical and vain
still feels like it was yesterday,
waiting for you to get out of shop
to go on hikes and holding hands along the way,
